Easter is about God, not about the resuscitation of a dead body. On the cross the world did all it could to Jesus. On earth God does all He can for the world. He forgives disciples, past and present, who have forsaken Him. His world is about forgiveness, not vengeance.
The disciple who Jesus loved didn’t have a name so that each of us could be that disciple and understand what we have to do to be the true follower. But seeing isn’t necessarily believing. It takes a lot of loving to see things that others can’t. We don’t have to go to Galilee to find him. He’s all around us in other people. Let’s try to love him in every person by compassionately serving them.
